- 1 Butternut pumpkin
- 2 green apples
- 2 carrots
- 1 brown onion
- 1 fresh red chilli
- 1 teaspoon Spice Zen All Purpose Spice Blend-Mild
- 1 Spice Zen Cinnamon Quill
- 250ml vegetable stock
- 3 sprigs of fresh rosemary
- Salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon Spice Zen Stoneground Cracked Black Pepper
- ½ teaspoon Spice Zen Red Chilli Flakes
- Handful of Pepita seeds
- 1 tablespoon cream (optional lactose free cream)
- Water as required
- Wash, peel and roughly chop the pumpkin, apples, carrots and onion and layer these in the slow cooker. Slice the fresh chilli in half and put in the slow cooker. Add the Spice Zen All Purpose Spice Blend-Mild, salt, rosemary and Spice Zen Cinnamon Quill. Cover with vegetable stock and water.
- Set the slow cooker to medium heat and leave to cook for 4-6 hours. Remove the stalks of the rosemary and the Cinnamon Quill and blend everything in a blender. Garnish with Spice Zen Stoneground Cracked Black Pepper, Spice Zen Red Chilli Flakes and Pepita seeds.
- Serve with a dollop of cream and fresh baguette to enjoy!!.
