Darjeeling Green Tea from the Orange Valley Estate is an extraordinary second flush green tea with its light muscatel flavour. These sublime and graceful second-flush green tea leaves are more mature than the first flush and have a mauve hue with silver tips. The leaves are handpicked and left outside to wither for 24 hours to evaporate moisture and then minimally processed using authentic procedures.

The leaves steep into a light emerald liquor with smooth, delicate, mellow with lightly toasted nutty, fruity notes and muscatel flavour. Enjoy the summer fruity, sweet and crisp notes with this unique tea. It complements fruits, Asian salads, stir fry, savory pies, fritters and pasta.

Brewing Instructions: Rinse the teapot with warm water. Use 1 heap teaspoon of tea leaves per cup, add water at 80 degrees Celsius and brew for 3 minutes. For best results, brew with fresh, filtered or pure water. Enjoy!
