This soul-soothing, rejuvenating beverage hails from Kashmir, a rugged, mountainous state with lush alpine meadows at the base of the Himalayan Range. Cold winds often sweep down from the snowy mountain peaks and Kashmiri Kahwa Tea is a go-to remedy for keeping warm and staving off cold and flu.

 

The delicate green tea chai is hand-blended with spices which activate as they steep in hot water and work to warm the insides, aid in digestion, relax the body and relieve tension and stress.

 

Our Kashmiri Kahwa Tea consists of premium quality, certified organic green tea leaves, mixed with a host of health-boosting culinary jewels - cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, long pepper and rose petals.

 

This mountain tea blend is laced with fine strands of organic saffron, which serve to enhance the already enticing golden colour of this exquisite tincture. To do justice to the beauty of this tea, serve it in tall clear glasses and sprinkle crushed raw almonds and dried fruits over the top to garnish. You can also add dried rose petals and serve on a traditional platter for a truly regal experience.

 

Brewing Instructions: Add 1 teaspoon per cup of hot water and infuse or simmer for around 2 to 3 minutes. Drink unsweetened, or add a small amount of sugar, honey or jaggery to taste. Garnish with crushed almonds.
