  • 1 tablespoon Spice Zen Satay spice blend
  • ½ cup peanut butter (crunchy)
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoon Kecap Manis (dark sweet soy sauce)*
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon roasted crushed peanut to garnish.

 *Use mix of 2 tablespoon soy sauce and 2 tablespoon coconut sugar or light brown sugar as a substitute; Use gluten free soya sauce for gluten free option

 

  1. Mix Spice Zen Satay spice blend, coconut milk, kecap manis, soy sauce, and salt in a saucepan. Simmer it on a medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Stir in crushed roasted peanuts and lime juice and simmer for another minute. Serve it at a room temperature.
