Rice semolina has a smooth texture and is great in breakfast cereal, baby food, bread, pancakes, puddings, pasta, idlis, rava dosa, savoury dishes and other semolina recipes.

 

Spice Zen’s Brown Rice Semolina is made in Sydney, Australia. It is made from 100% organic quick cook brown basmati rice, which is coarsely stoneground to produce a semolina like flour. The creamy, nutty and delicious semolina can be used in sweet or savoury dishes.

 

Rice semolina is a good source of carbohydrates, energy, fibre, minerals and vitamins.

 

Organic Ingredient: 100% Quick Cooking Brown Basmati Rice.

 

No added preservatives or flavourings. Suitable for Coeliacs and people with gluten intolerance.

 

Sweet pudding recipe: Lightly toast ½ cup of brown rice semolina in a pan with 1 tablespoon ghee/ oil over a low heat. Add 300 ml of milk of your choice. Let it simmer on low heat for 5-10 minutes. Top it up with milk for the desired consistency. Garnish with fruits and nuts.
