Aniseed or Anise is an aromatic spice that has a warm, sweet and licorice like flavor. It is native to the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East. Ground Aniseed is light brown to a grayish green in colour with intense licorice-like sweet flavour. Ground Aniseed is mainly used in baking, sausage, sauce and fruit recipes.
