This loose-leaf tea blend is Spice Zen’s very own take on the classic English Breakfast tea. English Breakfast is typically a blend of different teas from around the world (after all, the British owned almost the majority of all the world’s tea for hundreds of years!). The tea leaves used in English Breakfast are often changed to take advantage of differing prices in the market.
Our Indian Breakfast Tea is a rejuvenating morning tea or a roundly-popular, all-day black tea. This tea is made from premium grade tea leaves sourced from two primary tea growing regions of India – Assam and Darjeeling. This makes it a more predictable and consistent blend compared with English Breakfast, so if it’s what you enjoy, you’ll be able to stick to it!
This is a refreshing, premium tea blend of robust, single estate Assam whole leaf black tea, strong Assam CTC tea and flavoursome, gently fruity, floral scented Darjeeling Tea. It is a full-bodied tea with smooth malty notes and a fine muscatel aroma, brewing into a dark golden colour with rich tea notes and a honey, malt and raisin finish on the palate. Every sip is a delight that you’ll be sure to look forward to every morning.
Brewing Instructions: Use 1 teaspoon per cup of boiling water and brew for 3-5 minutes. Serve it as black tea or with milk.
Loose leaf tea. Hand blended in Sydney, Australia.
Certified Organic Ingredients: Assam whole leaf black tea, Assam CTC tea, Darjeeling black leaf tea.
No added sweeteners, preservatives, flavourings, dairy, flour, gluten, nuts, salt, sugar
