Botanical name: Curcuma longa

This juice is produced on receipt of your order from fresh, raw, whole Organic Turmeric Root grown in Northern NSW. It is Cold Pressed to avoid damaging the active nutrients. This 100% Turmeric Juice does not contain preservatives or any other additives.

Spice Zen Turmeric Juice is a natural source of Curcumin, Phytosterols, Potassium, Anti-oxidants - Polyphenols and other micro nutrients. The micro nutrients in this juice are in a ratio that is naturally occurring in raw, whole Turmeric root. It is easily mixed in beverages and has a smooth texture and slightly, naturally bitter flavour.

Turmeric is a flowering plant of the ginger family with broad, green tropical style leaves. Turmeric roots are a modified underground storage stem called a rhizome. Turmeric flesh is bright orange or yellow in colour and earthy, peppery and slightly bitter flavour. The flavour of Turmeric root comes from the essential oils and phenolic compounds.

Turmeric has been highly regarded as a spice for centuries and for its nutritional benefits in traditional Indian culture. It has lately become fashionable as a superfood. Curcumin, a chemical found in Turmeric and often marketed as a supplement, has been the subject of numerous research to validate its nutritional benefits. You can read an overview about the scientific research at https://examine.com/supplements/curcumin/

Turmeric juice is versatile and can be taken as a shot in the morning or added to a cold or warm drink, juice or smoothies. You can splash it on your stir fry, salads, marinades, seafood, meat, use it in baking or simply freeze the juice as cubes.

We wrap the bottles in cool gel pads to keep the juice chilled during shipping. Refrigerate the bottles immediately on receipt. The juice is prone to settle with storage – shake bottle vigorously, before opening, to mix the natural ingredients. We strongly recommend that you add a pinch of Black Pepper to the juice. We recommend a Best Before of 30 days from the date of production.

Delivered fresh, tumeric and ginger juice are a great and healthy addition to my everyday life. Both are great for adding to my tea or other drinks. Keeps well in the fridge. I found that since taking tumeric regularly, my blood sugar has come down and I feel generally better. I highly recommend both products.
