This everyday Japanese Matcha is stone-milled from organically grown green tea leaves, creating a fine, emerald powder perfect for both traditional whisked bowls and modern favourites. Smooth and lively, it offers grassy freshness, gentle umami and a bright green profile that shines in lattes, smoothies, iced drinks and baking.
In Japan, authentic Matcha begins with Tencha, green tea leaves that are steamed, dried and left unrolled to retain their delicate structure. After removing stems and veins, this soft leaf material is stone-milled into a vivid powder. While Tencha for everyday Matcha may differ slightly from ceremonial selections, the traditional transformation from Tencha to Matcha remains at the heart of Japanese tea craft.
Hand-packed in recyclable amber glass jars, this Matcha is protected from light and moisture to preserve its colour, aroma and freshness.

How to Brew
- Sift ½-1 tsp Matcha into a bowl.
- Add 1-2 tbsp (15-30 ml) of 70-80°C water and whisk into a smooth paste.
- Add 50-60 ml more warm water (total 60–80 ml).
- Whisk briskly in a W-shaped (zigzag) motion until frothy.
- For lattes: whisk with a splash of warm water, then top with hot or iced milk.
