What sets Spice Zen apart is the care behind every decision.

Certified Organic and Gluten-Free – Always
We source only certified organic spices, herbs, teas and ingredients, following controls from the origin. Australian native ingredients are organically grown, without pesticides, and sourced through trusted growers, as formal certification is not always available for them.
Our entire range is gluten-free, processed and packed in-house at our dedicated gluten-free facility. This gives us complete control, traceability and confidence across everything we create.

Traditional Methods, Chosen with Care
We use gentle handling and traditional processing methods. Spices are roasted and freshly ground at slow speed, teas are carefully blended and oils are first cold-pressed.
All production is in small batches and packaged with care. Product integrity across the entire chain maintains freshness and a small amount delivers depth of aroma, flavour and nourishment.

Pure Ingredients Only
We source ingredients from regions where they naturally thrive, selecting them for freshness, quality, nutritional integrity and the true character of the origin.
Our products contain only what belongs there – no fillers, artificial flavourings, preservatives or extracts.

Family-Owned, Responsibility Taken Personally
As a Sydney-based, small family business, we are personally involved in every aspect of Spice Zen. We work intentionally every day to guide production, minimise waste and honour our responsibility to our customers, partners and the environment.
Preeti and Aditya
Spice Zen was founded by Aditya and Preeti, a husband-and-wife team whose shared relationship with food extends beyond the kitchen into how they live and work.
Preeti’s experience with food sensitivities led her back to the flavours and rituals of her childhood. Her creativity in the kitchen grew from a need to cook with confidence, experimenting with ingredients and methods that met her dietary requirements. Aditya recognised a broader need for food made with honesty and purity. Together, they envisioned a business built on trust, transparency and food people could truly rely on. They chose to leave their corporate careers and begin Spice Zen, initially from their home.
Their partnership brings together complementary strengths across business strategy, agriculture, the food industry, marketing, legal and operational disciplines. This blend of commercial rigour and lived experience shapes how Spice Zen is run day to day, guided by care, patience and heart.
Aditya and Preeti remain closely involved in every aspect of the business, from product development and sourcing to quality control, production and long-term direction. Working from their purpose-built facility in Sydney, Australia, they believe that enduring brands are built deliberately, through quality, consistency and trust earned over time.
Spice Zen represents a long-term commitment to create something meaningful. Every product begins with the same quiet test: Would we proudly use this in our own kitchen and serve it to the people we love?
Only then does it become part of Spice Zen.
