Description
Description
Botanical name: Piper nigrum
White pepper is popular in European, Indian and East Asian kitchens for its clean heat, smooth fruitiness and ability to season without the speckled appearance of black pepper. Made from fully ripe pepper berries whose outer skins are removed before drying, white pepper delivers a rounded warmth that is subtly winey, earthy and aromatic.
Spice Zen’s Ground White Pepper begins with certified organic peppercorns that are carefully stoneground in small batches, releasing their naturally sharp aroma and full-bodied heat. It retains the rustic, uneven texture that only stone milling can create and is hand-packed in recyclable amber glass at our gluten-free Sydney facility to protect its delicate volatile oils.
Flavour & Aroma Profile
Hot, clean and winey with earthy undertones, smooth heat and a lightly fruity finish.
