Spice Zen’s Spicy Fish Rub brings brightness, warmth and aromatic lift to seafood, enhancing its natural sweetness while adding colour and depth.
Dill seed anchors the blend, releasing its clean, green perfume as it hits the heat. Smoked paprika adds gentle smokiness and rich colour. Ginger and lemon peel provide citrus warmth, while basil, thyme and oregano contribute a subtle coastal character.
As the fish cooks, the spices release their aroma and lightly coat the surface, creating a fragrant, golden finish. It is especially suited to salmon steaks, barramundi, whiting, prawns, scallops and calamari, and works just as well on roasted vegetables or grilled halloumi.
Handcrafted and blended in small batches at our gluten free Sydney facility using certified organic botanicals selected for purity and aromatic clarity. Packed fresh in recyclable amber glass jars to preserve natural oils and colour.

How to Use
• Use 1 to 2 teaspoons per 500 g fish or seafood before grilling, pan-searing or baking
• Mix 1 tablespoon with 2 tablespoons oil to create a paste for whole fish or fillets
• Sprinkle 1 teaspoon over 500 g vegetables or halloumi before roasting
• Stir ½ teaspoon into yoghurt or lemon dressing for seafood bowls
Adjust to taste depending on thickness and cooking method.
