Crafted from eight certified organic whole spices and coarse stone-milled to preserve their natural oils, this blend delivers the depth of true traditional chai.
Long before black tea became part of the ritual, chai in India was a fragrant spice infusion. Warming botanicals were simmered for aroma, familiarity and daily comfort. With the rise of British run Assam tea cultivation during the 19th century, tea gradually merged with these spice traditions resulting in the Masala Chai now loved worldwide - layered spices and maltiness in a cup that feels nostalgic, soulful and restorative.
Free from premixed black tea, sweeteners or fillers, this blend returns chai to its origins, a fragrant spice decoction. Brew it strong and malty with Assam tea, gentle and caffeine-free with rooibos, creamy on the stovetop with milk, bright and invigorating as an iced chai with ginger and lemon or simply infused in water or milk for a quick, modern brew. How to Brew
Traditional Stovetop Method (Most Authentic)

Add 1 cup water to a pot.

Stir in ½–¾ tsp Masala Chai Spice Blend.

Add ½–1 tsp Spice Zen Cold-Pressed Ginger Juice (optional).

Simmer 3 minutes.

Add 1 tsp Assam tea (or rooibos) and simmer 2 minutes.

Add ¼ cup milk or plant milk and simmer 1 minute.

Strain and sweeten.
Sweetening Guide

Hot chai: 1–1½ tsp jaggery OR 1 tsp sugar

Iced chai: 2–3 tsp sugar or maple syrup OR 1½–2 tsp honey (only after cooling)

Infuser Pot (Quick & Clean)

Add ½ tsp Masala Chai &1 tsp tea to infuser.

Pour boiling water. Steep 4–6 minutes.

Add warm milk to taste.
Microwave Chai (Weekday Shortcut)

In a mug: 1 cup milk or milk & water, ½ tsp Masala Chai.

Microwave 1–1½ minutes.

Steep 3–4 minutes, strain if needed.
Cold Brew Iced Chai

Simmer a double-strength brew using equal parts Masala Chai + tea (1–1½ tsp each).
