Description
Chaat Masala belongs to the rhythm of India’s street-food culture, where a simple bowl of fruit, puffed rice or potatoes transforms the moment this masala hits the surface. It captures everything that makes chaat unforgettable: tangy, funky, sweet, savoury, spicy and a little bit wild.
Its bold character comes from amchur (dried green mango powder), delivering that mouth-watering sweet–tart zing, and Himalayan black salt, the aromatic volcanic salt that gives chaat its signature savoury umami edge. Cumin, coriander, long pepper and cloves add warmth and depth; ajwain brings herbal lift; mint leaf a cool, green freshness; and ginger a lively undernote.
Use it lightly for a citrus–herbal lift, or boldly for the full, street-style impact. It brings joy to everything: fruit bowls, cucumbers, tomatoes, roasted potatoes, eggs, tofu, mushrooms, salads, snacks, dressings and even Indian-style lemonade. The joy of true Chaat Masala is its unmistakable “finger-licking” tang people crave in real Indian chaat.
Each batch is hand-roasted, slow-milled and blended in small batches at our gluten-free Sydney facility, preserving the natural volatile oils and layered vibrancy that define true Chaat Masala. Packed fresh into recyclable amber glass jars, it captures the just-milled fragrance and street-food spirit of North India.
