Onion is one of the world’s essential aromatics, loved for the way it builds savoury body, and subtle sweetness across almost every cuisine. When dried well and finely ground with care, it becomes beautifully concentrated, delivering onion’s full aroma without the texture, moisture, or preparation time of fresh onion.
At our gluten-free Sydney facility, certified organic dried onion is milled in small batches using our proprietary process, with no anti-caking agents, fillers, or processing aids, ever. We work with onion dried to a stable low-moisture level to protect flavour intensity and minimise clumping naturally, creating a powder that is clean, fragrant, and noticeably more aromatic than standard commercial onion powders.
Onion powder is naturally very moisture-sensitive, so freshness depends on careful sealing and storage. Once milled, it is sealed immediately in recyclable amber glass jars and should be kept airtight and stored away from humidity to preserve its aroma and free-flowing texture.
Ground Onion disperses smoothly and evenly, making it ideal for sauces, spice mixes, marinades, rubs, dressings, soups, savoury baking, stir-fries, and quick weekday meals.

How to Use
- Use ½ to 1 tsp per serve in soups, sauces, gravies, curries, or stir-fries
- Use 2 to 3 tsp per 500 g vegetables, meat, tofu, or legumes for everyday savoury depth
- Use 1 to 1½ tbs per 500 g for rubs, patties, meatballs, wedges, and roast vegetables where you want a fuller onion presence
- Stir into dressings, dips, yoghurt sauces, or marinades and rest 5-10 minutes for the flavour to develop
- Add early in cooking for deeper savoury body, or toward the end for a fresher onion lift
