Description
Description
Virgin walnut oil has long been treasured for its delicate flavour and expressive fragrance. Spice Zen’s certified organic Walnut Oil is crafted in small batches from premium walnuts selected for richness and aroma.
Each batch is first cold-pressed once at low temperature to preserve natural aromatic compounds and authentic walnut character. The fresh oil is gently gravity-settled, allowing natural sediments to rest without filtration, refining, bleaching or solvents. This slow, minimal-intervention process yields a smooth, mellow oil with expressive walnut depth and a beautifully honest finish.
True first-press walnut oil carries a distinctive walnut fragrance. While many commercial oils are deodorised or blended to soften this natural aroma, this oil remains pure and unrefined for those who appreciate walnut oil in its complete form.
Cold-pressed walnut oil naturally contains omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, along with naturally occurring vitamin E and walnut-derived antioxidants preserved through gentle extraction.
In French and Mediterranean cuisines, walnut oil is traditionally used as a finishing oil. It lifts salads, vegetables, cheeses and desserts with quiet depth. In traditional wellness and beauty practices, walnut oil is appreciated for its naturally warming feel, making it a cherished companion for grounding massage and body rituals.
Historically, walnut oil also held a quiet role in craftsmanship: from Renaissance ateliers to Impressionist studios, artists such as Leonardo da Vinci and Monet used walnut oil for its clarity and smooth consistency in painting mediums.
