Description
Description
Sweet almond oil has long been valued for its gentle sweetness and smooth, nurturing character. At Spice Zen, it is crafted with complete control from almond to bottle.
Our Certified Organic Virgin Almond Oil is pressed in small batches from premium almonds grown in the sun-rich orchards of South Australia, selected for their purity and natural sweetness. We first cold-press at low temperature to protect delicate aromatic compounds and preserve the almond’s natural richness. After pressing, the oil is gently gravity-settled so sediment can rest naturally at the base. It is never refined, bleached, deodorised or solvent-extracted. This slow, minimal-intervention method preserves the oil’s clarity, softness and authentic almond character, a hallmark of true virgin craft.
Approximately 35 to 40 almonds are required to produce a single tablespoon of this oil, reflecting the concentration and integrity of true first pressing.
In the kitchen, it lends gentle creaminess to dressings, pastries and warm vegetables. In traditional self-care rituals, it is appreciated for its light glide and silky feel on skin and hair. Its texture is smooth, its aroma soft, and its presence quietly refined.
Nutrient Profile
Cold-pressed almond oil naturally contains predominantly monounsaturated fats, small amounts of omega-6 fatty acids, and naturally occurring vitamin E and plant antioxidants characteristic of premium almonds.
Flavour & Aroma Profile
Soft almond sweetness with delicate creamy nuttiness and a warm, mellow finish. Light, smooth and refined.
