Handpicked from Sri Lanka’s famed high-country plantations, this certified organic Ceylon Orange Pekoe (OP1) reflects the clarity, brightness, and refined character that made Ceylon tea world famous. Grown at altitudes of 1,200–2,000 metres, where cool mist, monsoonal rains, and rich mountain soils nurture the Camellia sinensis shrub, this tea expresses the pure elegance of high-grown terroir.
Crafted from the newest flush using the traditional “two leaves and a bud” method, the premium OP1 grade features long, wiry leaves that brew into a bright copper-gold liquor with remarkable clarity. After hand-plucking, the leaves are withered, rolled, oxidised, and gently dried, a careful transformation that deepens aroma while preserving brightness.
Sourced from high-elevation tea estates in Sri Lanka’s hill country, our premium OP1 captures the signature high-grown style: naturally low in bitterness, refreshingly clean, delicately aromatic, and perfectly suited to daily drinking. How to Brew
