Description
Description
Amrita, in Sanskrit means the nectar of immortality and this name is chosen with intent for this blend. This tisane draws directly from the Ayurvedic traditions and is blended for a warming and deeply grounding cup.
Guduchi (giloy), kalmegh and amla shape the tea’s distinctive character, gently bitter, lightly drying, and deeply herbal, while tulsi brings a green, fragrant warmth. Ginger, fennel seed and true cinnamon add a comforting, clean, sweet spice note. Turmeric and black pepper bring earthy depth and a lingering golden finish that holds beautifully whether served hot or chilled.
Spice Zen Amrita Herbal Tea is hand-blended and packed in our gluten-free Sydney facility, with each ingredient kept purposeful so the cup stays balanced, drinkable, and true to its Ayurvedic inspiration.

Ayurvedic Tradition
Amrita is inspired by Ayurvedic blending traditions, where herbs and spices are chosen for their taste qualities and how they are traditionally used in everyday routine. Bitter botanicals are often associated with Pitta and Kapha traditions, while warming spices are commonly used in blends enjoyed across seasonal changes. This tea is also often described as tridosha-inspired in Ayurvedic language, meaning it is traditionally framed as suitable across Vata, Pitta, and Kapha routines.
Amongst its individual botanicals, Guduchi is revered as one of Ayurveda's most important rasayana herbs, a class of botanicals traditionally associated with vitality, longevity and resilience. Amla, extraordinarily rich in vitamin C and antioxidant compounds, has been a cornerstone of Ayurvedic rejuvenation practice since antiquity. Tulsi, the sacred herb of India, carries a long tradition of use for clarity, calm and respiratory comfort in its home culture. Ginger, turmeric with added black pepper is traditional Indian herbalism pairing. Ceylon cinnamon brings warmth and balance. Fennel seed has been valued across Indian, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern traditions for its gentle, soothing, digestive character. Kalmegh, the King of Bitters, is one of the most potent cleansing herbs in the Ayurvedic traditions.
Herbal tisanes can be a gentle part of daily ritual, but everybody is unique. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or under medical care, please consult your practitioner before introducing new herbs.
