Description
Description
White Peony, known as Bai Mu Dan, is one of China’s most elegant white teas, celebrated for its natural beauty and understated character. Grown in the Fujian Province, this tea is crafted from the tender unopened bud and the first one or two young leaves of the spring shoot, harvested at just the right moment to preserve freshness and floral nuance.
Spice Zen’s Certified Organic White Peony Tea is of premium Pekoe grade, carefully selected for its fine leaf structure and gentle aroma. The minimally processed leaves retain their natural form, with silvery buds and soft green leaves that unfurl slowly during infusion. When brewed, the tea produces a clear amber to pale apricot liquor with a smooth texture and subtle complexity. Notes of soft florals, light fruit and gentle sweetness unfold on the palate, followed by a clean, calming finish.
White tea undergoes the least processing of all true teas, allowing the leaf’s natural character to shine through. This makes White Peony an ideal tea for quiet moments, light meals or whenever a gentle, soothing cup is desired.
Hand-packed in small batches at our gluten-free Sydney facility, this tea is sealed in biodegradable, resealable stand-up green pouches with inner foil to protect freshness and aroma.
