Description
White sesame oil is one of the oldest oils known to humankind, treasured in ancient kitchens, classical Ayurvedic traditions and everyday rituals of nourishment.
Our certified organic White Sesame Seed Oil is first cold pressed in small batches from unhulled white sesame seeds, yielding a pale golden oil with soft nuttiness and gentle warmth. Pressed only once at low temperature, it is allowed to settle naturally so fine sediments can rest undisturbed. The result is clarity, silkiness and the true aromatic signature of the sesame seed.
Unrefined and untouched by heat or chemicals, this is authentic first-press sesame oil. Naturally containing monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, including omega-6 fatty acids, along with sesamol, vitamin E and plant antioxidants characteristic of true cold pressing, it reflects both purity and integrity.
Across India, East Asia and the Middle East, white sesame oil has long been valued for its subtle flavour. It lends quiet richness to noodles, dumplings and warm grains, enhances vegetables without overpowering them and brings depth to dressings and broths. Its presence is gentle yet unmistakable.
In Ayurveda, sesame oil is regarded as a foundational oil for Abhyanga, the traditional practice of warm oil massage. It is culturally associated with warmth, grounding and daily nourishment. This oil continues that lineage, crafted with restraint and intention.

Wellness Tradition
In Ayurveda and traditional East Asian practice, sesame oil is culturally associated with warmth, grounding and daily nourishment. Its soft texture and gentle aromatic warmth have made it a foundational element of both culinary and self-care traditions for centuries. Sesame has deep roots in the world’s earliest civilisations. Known as tila in Sanskrit and “gingelly” throughout South Asia, it appears in Vedic hymns, temple offerings and classical Ayurvedic formulations.
