This golden turmeric latte is made with Spice Zen Turmeric Latte Blend, gently simmered in milk for a smooth, well-rounded cup. Warm, earthy spices and subtle sweetness come together in a comforting drink with natural depth and balance. Finished with a light froth and a touch of cinnamon, it’s an easy ritual suited to any time of day.
Ingredients
-
2 cups milk (cow or goat for traditional flavour, or almond or coconut for a plant-based option)
-
1 to 1¼ teaspoons Spice Zen Turmeric Latte Blend (adjust to taste)
-
2–3 teaspoons raw honey, agave syrup, raw sugar or Spice Zen Jaggery
-
Pinch of Spice Zen Ground Cinnamon (true verum)
Directions
Pour the milk into a small saucepan and heat gently over low heat until just beginning to simmer.
Add the Turmeric Latte Blend and stir gently. Keep the heat low and simmer for 4–5 minutes, allowing the spices to infuse without boiling.
Remove from the heat and strain into cups for a smooth finish.
Stir in sweetener to taste until fully dissolved.
Froth lightly if desired, then finish with a pinch of Stoneground Cinnamon.
Chef’s Notes
Keep the heat low to preserve the flavour of the spices and milk.
Stir regularly to prevent settling during simmering.

Recipe Note
Vegan Adaptation: Use almond or coconut milk and agave syrup in place of dairy and honey.
Iced Latte: Prepare the latte as above, allow to cool slightly, then pour over ice and froth cold if desired.
Extra-Smooth Finish: For a silky texture, strain through a nut-milk bag or fine cloth rather than a metal sieve.
Spice Strength: Start with the lower amount of turmeric blend and adjust to preference.
Sweetener Choice: Jaggery adds a deeper, caramel-like note; sugar or honey keeps the flavour lighter.
